6G Classic and 8B classic were created based on the body of actual 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy. DollShe craft’s classic line dolls have more realistic shape and ratio and its size is proportion to reduction of the actual in scale of 2:7:1. 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy were crafted based on more realistic shape and figurative element on the difference of little girl and boy was taken into consideration.

For example, the hands of actual 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy do not differ by much, however, we made them more plump so feel of the flesh is expressed more realistically and excluded the feel of the skeleton. As they get closer to the finger, we narrowed the volume so it looks more like hands of a female. As for the look of the hands, we expressed them charmingly as 6 year old girl would have in real life.

Whereas, for hands of 8 year old boy, we crafted them thicker in volume as they get closer to the finger and made them relatively bigger in size compared to 6 year old girl. We reproduced the shape of hands as 8 year old boy would normally have in real life.

Due to the concept of sibling, 6G and 8B may have similar feel, but we have differentiated the ratio and detail for distinction of gender.

We designed the joints in the way BJD can be posed in the most beautiful way. I do not think maximizing the mobility range justifies the definition of beautiful doll. I like the dolls that rather have some limit on the mobility range and the capability of taking natural pose at the same time. With incorporation of Dollshe system, these dolls can take stable posture as well.
