* We would like to explain the following to ask for your kind understanding of our shipping schedule. Please review the following information thoroughly in order to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding.

*Silicone molds are customized depending on the type of the individual doll. The quantity that can be casted from a single silicone mold is limited, therefore, it will take longer to finish the doll. For example, when we receive a large volume of “Type A” orders that are popular and small volume of “Type B” orders that are relatively less popular, the number of times we have to cast “Type A” is more redundant and shipping the orders will take that much longer because as mentioned above the quantity that can be casted from a single silicone mold is limited. “Type B” orders, on the other hand, do not have to be casted as often due to small order quantity, therefore allows us to shorten the shipping lead time. When performing silicone casting, once it is finished with casting and de-molded, it has to be left to dry at room temperature, otherwise, the occlusion of the mold will result in bad parting line. If the heat remains in the silicone mold, it will cause to shorten the curing time of ultra-low viscosity polyurethane resin and result in having small bubbles due to insufficient time to remove the air bubbles when vacuum molding. Because of such reason, lines that we receive large volume of orders take a long time to cast them and often result in shipping delay.

* Silicone molds are customized for each individual doll type and silicone molds that are damaged in the process of casting will be postponed until the new mold is produced. Usually silicone mold replication is possible up to 30 pieces, however, after sorting out the defectives, up to 20 pieces can be used as good finished product. Lifespan of the silicone mold may vary depending on the shape and volume of the parts.

* Shipping schedule ,for each line-up, is allocated in sequential order in which it was received. For example, shipping schedule of 28M CLASSIC line and 26F CLASSIC line will be different. If there are more orders for 28M CLASSIC line and less orders for 26F CLASSIC line, shipping lead time of the latter will be relatively shorter.

*Shipping schedule refers to the date of order submission to the actual date the order is shipped from our workshop. Actual delivery time until receipt of the order is not included in Shipping schedule.

* When using layaway system of 4 payments, your order will begin casting upon the receipt of your 3rd payment and when using that of 3 payments, your order will begin casting upon the receipt of 2nd payment. However, in case of massive volume of workload and orders, your order will be casted upon the receipt of the final payment.

* Actual shipping schedule may vary up to 2 weeks either sooner or later than the informed date.

* All dolls are produced upon the receipt of the order form. Schedule is subject to change in case of damage in silicone mold and other unavoidable circumstances. etc.

* We are in the process of detailing the figure of Fashion Line. We are expecting about 5 months of shipping lead time upon the receipt of the order as we currently have excessive volume of launching anniversary promotion orders.

* We only have limited number of inventory on Fifth Motif and it will be discontinued as soon as our inventory is depleted. We currently have 40 units left in stock. Estimated shipping lead time for Fifth Motif is 2 months.

* We are updating our “Estimated Shipping Schedule” every month. Estimated shipping schedule is only for your reference and may differ from the actual ship date. Please do not hesitate to contact us for the accurate ship date of your order.

  • What does it really mean that “shipping time” is 3 months for 28m fashion line? Three months from when we ordered would have been March and we all know none have shipped yet. Three months from April would be July/August.
Can you be any more specific for those who ordered during the Christmas sale when they can expect to start receiving dolls?

    • Dear Walter Eskildsen,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping your order. We are currently refining the detail of the original sculpt before casting so the shipping is being delayed. We will post the work in progress and shipping schedule in the announcement section.

  • I also purchased 2 of the fashion sized dolls in th Nov/Dec Christmas order period. So are you saying you will announce a definite date we should expect our orders to start shipping. If they ship in July/August that seems like a very long time to have people wait from the preorder dates. I have not ordered before this order from your company is this the norm for pre order wait times?

    • Dear Mary West,
My name is Kiyong, the sculptor of original figure of Dollshecraft. I would like to apologize for the delay in shipping. I have perfectly modified the mobility structure and currently finalizing the detail on finger nails and toe nails. During this event period, we have received so many orders with hands and feet parts as part of the composition and in result production of the original sculpt is being delayed. As I am always under the pressure that the original sculpt has to be made perfectly with no margin of error, it is taking longer than expected. I am trying my best effort, however, it looks like it will take about two more weeks to show you the doll that is close to complete finish. I will post the work in progress in two weeks in the website blog.

After shipping is finished for the current pre-orders, we will take orders only when the original sculpt is finished and casting has started so we will not have to miss the shipping deadline for our future orders. Regardless of the reason, delay in production of original sculpt is all my fault. It looks like it will take about 2 months until shipping.

In the beginning, I have announced that we will take orders from December and it would take about 5 months until actual shipping. I thought that would have been enough time to finish the doll. However, I am suffering from an autoimmune disease called dyshidrotic eczema. There is no medical cure for it and it requires a permanent care throughout my entire life. I believe I got this disease while working with putty and chemicals with bare hands all night long. Dyshidrotic eczema is accompanied by severe itching and blisters so when I push myself to the limit working on the dolls, the blisters pop and I cannot fall asleep since it is so itchy. It may sound like an excuse, but I tried to finish the original sculpt as soon as possible even in this horrible physical condition. However, my hand condition kept getting worse and could not continue working on the dolls for a while. When it gets worse, I had to take 2 weeks off and the symptom would reappear after working on the dolls for a few days. Regardless of the reasons, it is clearly my fault that we could not ship the doll in time.

I am the president of the company and this business operates based upon the production of dolls from myself, however, this kind of shipping delay is damaging the business. I promise I will not damage the operation of Dollshecraft business due to my own mistake.

Therefore, in the future, we will take orders only when the original sculpt is finished and casting has started so we will not have to miss the shipping deadline for our future orders. This is agreed among the entire Dollshecraft staff and has been announced in our English version website a few times. We just opened out Korean version website so this announcement is not updated in our Korean Website as of yet.

I am fully aware it is very frustrating and stressful to apologize for the delay so I will try my best not to repeat the same mistake.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping and inconvenience this might have caused you.

      Have a wonderful day.

      Sincerely yours,
      DollShe-Ki-yong
Master Sculptor & President of DollShe craft

  • Hello, like the previous comments I ordered on 5 January (order 670) and was wondering about shipping times. This is also my first time ordering from yourselves and it would be nice to have been sent some sort of update to ease people’s minds. Do I take it that my order will be at least another 2-3 months??

    • Dear Nicky,
We apologize for the delay in shipping.
Shipment will begin after 2 months from now. We will try our best effort to ship them as soon as possible.

  • Hi, i note on the July schedule that 28m fashion are another 3 months but you told me in May that it would be another two months taking me to end of July. Could you confirm estimated delivery time. My order is 670 I think.

    • Sorry to have you wait for such a long time.
It looks like it will take about 1-2 months until it is ready for shipping.
Once the work is in progress, we will post it on the website blog.
We will try our hardest to finish it as perfect as possible.

  • I appreciate the reasons for the delay, but I don’t want to have to wait another two months, then to be told again there may be another delay. I placed in the order in January, and its been 7 months already, if I waited another two months, then that’s 9 months. Im sorry but I think that’s too long to wait. Is it possible to cancel and have a full refund?

    • We apologize for the delay in shipping. We will send you the detail regarding your order process in a separate email.Thank you.
