Josef Markevitz – Fashion Line Grant Philippe

Winter got in the way, but I am back to finishing my fun-sized Grant Philippe. Just the legs to paint and I am done. Then I will do a proper shoot. In the meantime, here is a quick pic of him doing something mysterious. Dancing? Having a seizure? No idea.

    Wow he looks amazing. Just love his colouring, your painting is incredible. Look forward to seeing more pictures when he’s finished. Please could I ask where you got his wig from?

      Thank you very much.

      The wig I made myself. It is a hard cap mohair one. He needed short-short hair, so it was the only option.

        The wig is perfect for him, I too feel he needed very short hair. Grant Phillipe has quite chiseled features and the colouring you have given him seems to soften them. He looks incredibly handsome. I was wondering if you do commissioned face-up and wigs as I am awaiting a fashion size Grant Philippe and he should be here soon.

          No, I don’t, I’m afraid. Not because I am precious, but because I am flakey. It took me four months to knuckle down and finish him. My full-sized Kuncci that I got over a year ago still needs a body blush. So, yes. Best for me not to make promises to anyone! But thanks for the comments. I hope you find someone who can do this for you (and more reliably than I could). Max

      Yes, I didn’t forget you asked for full body pictures! In the shoot I posted after this single shot, I did a few full body shots of him in his role as a ballet dancer. A beautiful body.

      And thank you. I am enjoying working on him. More photos planned.

    Where did you get the small pupil eyes? I had to end up making my own with glass beads. Your paint and blushing are fantastic.
